Step 1. Log in to the TCS NextStep Portal  Opens in new tab

Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive

• Scenario A. If you are a registered user under the TCS NextStep Portal, 'IT’ category, kindly log in with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
• Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose the category “IT” and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on 'Apply For Drive'.

Step 3. Choose your preferred test center & then click on ‘Apply’.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’.

 

Important Note:

• Please note that this is an in-center test, and center allotment would be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• You must have all your latest original academic documents, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if shortlisted for the test).
• Communication related to the test will be informed to you by our test partner, TCS iON.

• Kindly note that we have stringent eligibility criteria and a robust selection process. Your eligibility as per the defined criteria will be checked at various stages of the selection process. Test Eligibility :

• Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), graduation, and post-graduation examination.
• Highest Qualification: TCS Atlas hiring is exclusively open for candidates from the batch of 2024 with the following academic degrees: - M.Sc (Mathematics/Statistics/Economics) and MA (Economics) from Year of Passing (YoP) – 2024.
• Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: The candidate should not have any pending academic backlogs.
• Extended Education: No extended education would be allowed. Candidates should have completed the course in the stipulated course duration.
• Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. The overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant documentation, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.
• Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).
• Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the graduation and post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time. 
• Work Experience: Candidates with 0 - 24 months of experience may apply for TCS Atlas Hiring, however candidates with any prior experience would be required to submit the necessary supporting documents as per TCS requirements.
• Age: Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years to participate in this hiring event.

• Diploma Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical field required.
• Prefer Building Automation Systems (BAS) successful experience and demonstrated competencies in the components of a BAS including: controllers, sensors, output devices, communications protocols, and user interface.
• Prefer knowledge of engineering fundamentals, HVAC systems, mechanical systems.
• Prefer ability to read and interpret mechanical and building automation bid specifications.
• Prefer understanding of buildings and ability to identify HVAC system equipment requiring automation.
• Desirable to have experience using an Estimating/Quoting system.
• Prefer knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Prefer knowledge of building construction process.
• Fluent in English language.
• Fluent in French language (those assigned to support Quebec).
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to interpret customer requirements, identify needs and resolve issues in a positive manner.
• Able to adapt to shifting demands and competing priorities from customers and internal partners to consistently manage time effectively and meet established deadlines.
