Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 0-2 years of relevant experience. Preferred Experience / Skills:

·        Demonstrated success in leading and implementing cost-saving initiatives within a manufacturing setting, utilizing Continuous Improvement Methodologies.

·        Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

·        Proficiency in reading and interpreting various documents including safety regulations, engineering drawings, and operational procedures.

·        Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and orally, including presenting to groups of customers or colleagues.

·        Proficient in advanced mathematical principles such as geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and statistical theory.

·        Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to define issues, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.

·        Experience interpreting technical instructions and dealing with abstract and concrete variables.

 

Responsibilities & Requirements:

·        Assess project proposals and equipment needs, develop justifications, and oversee the acquisition and installation of equipment to meet performance targets.

·        Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to achieve company objectives.

·        Identify and procure factory supplies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

·        Ensure availability of CNC programs to support production requirements.

·        Assist in training operators in CNC programming and tooling.

·        Maintain tooling and fixtures to meet customer demands.

·        Troubleshoot processes and equipment to minimize production delays.

·        Contribute to the development of profit and manufacturing plans, monitoring capital project progress and expenditures.

·        Stay updated on advancements in machine tool equipment and methods, proposing innovative solutions to improve quality and throughput.

·        Support company objectives and comply with safety and environmental regulations.

·        Demonstrate teamwork and respect towards customers and colleagues.

 

Role Summary:

·        Plan, coordinate, and optimize manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, and testing.

·        Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve delivery.

·        Provide engineering support to production departments, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operations.
